What we grow

Everything we grow at Lone Start Lettuce Growers is USDA Organic Certified.  Additionally, we sell all of our produce as "living", meaning it still has the roots attached.  This gives our produce superior freshness and shelf life that Texans deserve!  See below for our most common living lettuce offerings.  We sell both bulk cases and individually bagged heads.  Please reach out for details if you are interested in purchasing!

Our most popular item! This gorgeous mix is comprised of green butter, red butter, green oakleaf, red oakleaf, and lollo Rossa.  If you are looking to spice up your lettuce with different colors, textures, and varieties, this mix is for you!

Tough to beat a classic!  Our green butters are a staple for anyone looking for soft, tender, large leaves.  If you had to pick an ideal single lettuce variety, this would be it!

Don't let the name fool you!  Although these heads are slightly smaller than butters, they have a thick texture & plenty of flavor, making them highly desirable for anyone looking for nice, petite lettuce heads.  At Lone Star Lettuce Growers, we grow both green & red gems.
